Wanted - Lillberg Ikea rocking chair
A strange request, but I don't know anyone who has one, and Ikea doesn't sell them anymore.

Anyone know someone who wants to sell theirs? Doesn't have to be the same colours as this one - I'm happy to recover / paint etc with something new.  Pretty please?

    Lost Cat, Looking for Owner
Hi everyone, long shot, but here's hoping.

Ginger male tabby cat found in carpark of Dog Swamp Shopping Centre on evening of February 10th. Wearing collar, very friendly, looks quite skinny and may have been lost a while. Estimate about 2-3 years old.

Please contact me ASAP if this is your cat. He's wonderful and I'm sure he misses you very much.

    Jellyfish
I live up in the Northern Suburbs and today I went swimming near Quinn's Rocks. There were a metric effload of jellyfish right near the shore. Being Canadian and ignorant of all the different species of things that can kill me here I was wondering if anyone in this community is well versed in types of jellyfish in the area. I have tried googling but none of the pictures I have seen look anything like the ones I saw. They were brown, quite large (the largest one I saw was about the size of my daughter's head, she's 3), no tentacles but what looked like suction cups such as squid or octopi would have (only not...if that makes sense). They also had a cross pattern on top of the bell and when the bell was out of the water it became a kind of yellowish/orange colour rather than brown.

Does anyone know what type of jellyfish these could be?

Can anyone recommend a book club? I live SOR, but I'm not too bothered by distance, though something central-ish would be nice (I'm moving to Como soonish).

    Pedicures...
Is there a place I can get one done, in the city, or within the Mt Hawthorn, Maylands, Belmont  areas that:

    a) Isn't going to kill me with that nasty fume smell that assaults me as I walk past the usual 'nail' place...

    b) isn't super dooper luxury expensive...

Honours Research Project - Psychology Survey
    Hi fellow perth peoples :)
I'm completing a fourth year project which looks at identity exploration online and offline, paired with how people feel when communicating. I'd be immensely grateful if you could check it out through the link below, or pass the message on. Anything to help bump up responses.

    http://psych.curtin.edu.au/research/honours/ide_web/index.cfm

I'm collecting data over the next few weeks, with particular interest in the opinions and experience of LJ and FB users (aged 18-25 years). Anyone completing the survey will have the opportunity to win a frabjous US$50 Amazon.com voucher!

(N.B. One set of 10 questions is repeated to compare differences between settings, please don't be bewildered!)

    Thanks for your interest ^_^

    Selling a few things
    We're located in Stirling.

Exercise bike. Purchased this a year ago then not long after hurt my tailbone and can't ride it anymore. It's one of those big ones with the fan - so it keeps you cool while you ride (which is why I bought it). V. Good condition, barely used. Bought for $700, asking $400 ONO.

Westinghouse 150L chest freezer with basket. Works well. $125

    Inside the freezer )

Hoover 480L Fridge/Freezer. A bit noisy at time but still works well. $125 The plastic bit on the front falls off easily, bit it goes back on easily as well.

    Inside the fridge )

If you take the fridge and freezer together it's $200.

Epson Stylus CX6500. Scanner doesn't work. Something is up with the print heads (probably because it wasn't used for a while). Sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't, someone in the know (or with an instruction manual) should be able to fix it. It has almost full ink cartridges in it. $30

    Looking for Group
Experienced roleplayer/DM looking for group in the Perth region, preferably South of the River.

Mainly experienced in D&D 3rd edition with dabblings in VtM, Star Wars, and Shadowrun. Also willing to experience LARP and/or Cosplay.

The main group I have been playing D&D with has stagnated and been crippled by WoW addictions, so I need to find new players.

I am a mature gamer and will take any offers seriously.

I was previously the writer/producer of Shirtninja and I am a member of Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance
